Athens, Ga. - Baylor's Zuzana Zemenova ended Tracy Lin's run at the NCAA Championships on Saturday, taking a three-set quarterfinal win at Georgia's Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
Lin, who had dropped the first set, battled back to take the second set in a tiebreaker. Zemenova, the 2005 NCAA Singles Champion, proved too much in the third however, eventually taking a 6-2, 6-7(3), 6-2 victory. Zemenova will face top-seeded Audra Cohen of Miami in Sunday's semifinals.
By reaching the round of 16 in the singles draw, Lin is guaranteed to be named a 2007 All-American, the first such honor of her career.
