UCLA freshman Kelyn Rowe continued his hot streak, scoring the game-winning goal in the 105th minute to give #13 UCLA a 1-0 double overtime victory over #11 California in Berkeley, Calif. Rowe's goal was his third in as many games, extending his scoring streak to six consecutive games.

Rowe blasted a shot from 25 yards out to end the hard-fought contest at 104:49. Victor Chavez set up the play with a pass to Rowe, who scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season. Chavez's assist was his fourth of the year.

Bruin goalkeeper Brian Rowe earned the shutout after making five saves on 16 California shots. California goalkeeper David Bingham had eight saves on 19 Bruin shots.

UCLA improves to 9-3-1 on the year and 4-1-0 in the Pac-10. The Bruins are tied once again with California for first place in the conference standings. The Golden Bears' overall record drops to 8-2-2 on the season.

UCLA will next host the same Bay Area teams it faced on the road this weekend. The Bruins host Stanford on Friday, Oct. 22 at 7 pm and California on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 2 pm.
