Five of UCLA's golfers finished the day in the top 15 as the No. 2 ranked UCLA women's golf team finished the second round of the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge in 1st place.

The Bruins posted a second round score of 287 (+3) to give them a tournament score of 583 (+15). The team currently holds a two-stroke lead over second place USC (+17) and a three-stroke lead over third place Pepperdine (+18). Arizona State and Wake Forest rounded out the top five by scoring a 592 (+24) and 599 (+31) respectively.

Individually, freshman Ani Gulugian and sophomore Tiffany Lua finished the day in a tie for third at 144 (+2). Gulugian, competing as an individual, recorded a second round 68 (-3) while Lua shot a 74 (+3). Sophomore Lee Lopez moved into a tie for 5th after shooting a one-under 70 (-1) to give her an overall score of 145 (+3). Meanwhile, senior Glory Yang climbed up into a tie for 7th by firing a 70 (-1) to end up with a total of 146 (+4). Juniors Brianna Do and Stephanie Kono finished tied for 14th and 34th respectively, with Do posting a total score of 148 (+6) and Kono scoring a 154 (+12).

Carlota Ciganda of Arizona State was the round two leader with an overall score of 143 (+1). Lua and Gulugian are just one stroke back of her while Lopez and Yang are two and three shots behind respectively.
