Bruins Pick up Speed in Titan Invitational

The Bruins had yet another fantastic performance Friday in the Titan Invitational hosted by Cal State Fullerton, as the 24th ranked women and 15th ranked men both took second overall in the team category.
The men's and women's squads also had impressive individual showings Friday in Fullerton, Calif. Freshman Nick Hartle finished first overall among attached runners, running the 8k invite in 24:48.2. In the women's 5k race, freshman Lyndsey Mull took third overall with a time of 18:05.0.
The Bruins are gaining momentum at the right time, with the Pac-12 Championships now a just week away. They will host next week's championship races at Robinson's Ranch in Santa Clarita, Calif. It is shaping up to be a competitive weekend, as there are currently four nationally ranked teams on the men's side and six in the women's half.
