
Bruins Prepped for 2025 Big Ten XC Championships

The UCLA cross country team begins its postseason this weekend, heading to East Lansing, Mich. asย all 18 league schools converge for the 2025ย Big Ten Cross Country Championships.
The Bruins will run at Michigan State's Forest Akers East Golf Course alongside all other 17 B1G schools. Each Big Ten institution will have women's teams in competition, while 15 will have men's teams running.
The day starts off with the men's 8k starting at 7:35 a.m. PT (10:35ย a.m. ET) followed by the women's 6k at 8:35 a.m. PT (11:35 a.m. ET).
Both races will be televised on the Big Ten Network starting at 7:30 a.m. PT.

UCLA is coming off a pair of top-five finishes at the Bill Dellinger Invitational held in Eugene, Ore. The women's team placed fourth overall in the team standings, with Annika Salz (20:39.66) leading the charge and finishing as one of three Bruins with a new PB. The men meanwhile placed fifth, with Kai Mitchell-Reiss (23:49.85) pacing the squad and Andreas Dybdahl (23:59.50) earning Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors after pacing all frosh runners. Five of the seven Bruin men to race at the Dellinger notched PBs.ย
