Earned All-Region honors after finishing 17th at the West Regionals (30:13) as the Bruins' No. 1 runner ... At the Pac-10 meet, Emilsson was UCLA's No. 3 runner (36th, 26:06.4) ... At the Pre-National Meet, finished 75th overall (24:41.4, UCLA's No. 4 runner) ... Named Pac-10 second team All-Academic ... 2002-03 -- Emilsson was the top Bruin finisher at both the Pac-10 (24th) and NCAA West Region (34th) ... Ran a season best 24:47 at the Pac-10 Championships ... In outdoor track, placed third (8:58.18) in the 3000m steeplechase at the Pac-10 Championships ... Was 24th, 8:56.59, in the 3000m steeplechase qualifying at the NCAA Championships ... On August 12, 2003, he ran a personal best 3:48.44 in the 1500m at Malmo, Sweden ... 2001-02 -- Emilsson transferred to UCLA from Tulane (the Green Wave dropped men's track & field) ... On Aug. 18 in Gavle, Sweden at Sweden's National Championships, Emilsson placed eighth (3:58.63, 3:52.99Q) in the 1500m ... As a freshman on the Tulane cross country team, he earned All-Dist. honors after finishing 20th at the NCAA South Central Regional with a time of 31:17 on the 10K course ... Also an All-Conference USA selection after finishing 11th and helping the Green Wave to the league title with a 24:20.0 8K mark. ... Was third at the LSU Invitational.
High School -- Represented the Swedish National team, as well as three appearances with the Junior National team ...
