At the Mexico Under-23 Championships (July 11/Tepic), Munguia was second in the 800m ... At the Mexico National Championships (July 4/Monterrey), Munguia helped lead the State of Coahuila to the National title, by placing third in the 800m and anchoring its 4X400m relay ... A redshirt in Outdoor track ... Munguia ran a season-best 1:48.76 (800m) at the Occidental Last Chance Meet ... Also ran personal-bests of 48.75 (400m) and 3:48.98 (1500m).
