Following a four-year career at UCLA, Danielle Peterson remains in the Bruin program in 2009 as a team manager.

Peterson played in 46 games throughout her four years, recording five hits in 48 at-bats. She drove in four runs, scored twice and drew eight walks. In 2005, Peterson drove in the game-winning run with a pinch-hit double in the second game of the Super Regionals against Georgia, a series in which the Bruins went on to win in three games to earn a berth in the Women's College World Series.

Peterson came off the bench in her first 31 appearances before earning her first start at designated player during her junior season of 2007. She had a sacrifice fly and a run scored in her first start against UNLV on Feb. 17. The Bruins were 5-0 in her starts.
