Bruins to Face Oregon State in Marina del Rey

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA women's rowing program will face Oregon State in its final home event of the spring season on Saturday, March 17, at UCLA's Marina Aquatic Center.
 
Racing will begin on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with the Bruins competing against each other with their fourth and fifth varsity eight crews.
 
UCLA and Oregon State will race their varsity four and second varsity four crews at 9:45 a.m., with the second varsity eight race scheduled to take palce at 10 a.m. Racing will conclude with the varsity eight competition at 10:15 a.m.
 
Saturday's event will mark the Bruins' third home competition of the spring. The Bruins rowed against Stanford and San Diego State on Saturday, March 3, and hosted a home exhibition against Loyola Marymount last Saturday.
 
Following the varsity eight race this Saturday morning, UCLA will honor its eight senior student-athletes for their service and effort to the Bruins' program.
 
Saturday's Schedule
9:30 a.m. – 4V8+ and 5V8+ races (UCLA only)
9:45 a.m. – V4+ and 2V4+
10:00 a.m. – 2V8+
10:15 a.m. – V8+
 
Directions to UCLA's boathouse in Marina Del Rey: Located at the end of Fiji Way, just west of Lincoln Blvd, the address to UCLA's boathouse is 14001 Fiji Way (Marina del Rey, Calif., 90292). Parking isn't available at the boathouse. Rather, spectators are encouraged to park for free at Dock 52 (10-15 minute walk from the boathouse). Fans can also pay to park at Fisherman's Village (five-minute walk).
