ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. - The 24th-ranked Bruins head to Los Angeles' South Bay this upcoming week for the Pac-12 Championships, which will be played at the Rolling Hills Country Club. The three-day, 72-hole tournament runs from Monday through Wednesday at the par-71, 7,155-yard layout.

The Pac-12 Championships, unlike most regular-season events, will be a six-scoring-five tournament. The Bruins will send out senior Tyler Collier, juniors Cole Madey and Patrick Murphy, sophomore Hidetoshi Yoshihara and freshmen Devon Bling and Eddy Lai. Live scoring will be available here. Monday's play, which will be 36 holes, will have the Bruins starting on the first tee at 8:21 a.m. in the order of Murphy, Lai, Bling, Madey, Collier and Yoshihara. Tuesday's tee times will be off split tees starting at 9 a.m., while Wednesday's tee times will be off split tees beginning at 8 a.m., with the last two days being 18 holes.

The Golfweek rankings (as of April 16) for the Pac-12 Championships field are #5 California, #12 Stanford, #15 Arizona State, #22 USC, #32 Arizona, #36 Oregon, #45 Colorado, #71 Utah, #74 Washington, #83 Oregon State and #106 Washington State.

UCLA finished fifth (+38, 1,088) at last year's Pac-12s, which was held at Boulder Country Club and shortened to three rounds due to snow. Collier and Madey were the top finishers for the Bruins, with each tying for ninth (+5, 215). The Bruins have won five league titles (2006, 2003, 1985, 1983 and 1982). Individually, six Bruins have earned medalist honors (Pete Lazzlo, 1970; Corey Pavin, 1982; Steve Pate, 1983; Duffy Waldorf, 1985; John Merrick, 2003; Daniel Im, 2006).

In the Bruins' 11 events this season, they have finished in the Top 4 on nine occasions, including a win at the Southwestern Invitational (Feb. 26-27, -8, 856). UCLA was second at both the Jackrabbit Invitational (March 9-10, -30, 834), the Marquette Intercollegiate (Oct. 1-3, +13, 877) and the El Macero Classic (April 13-15, +25, 889), tied for second at The Farms Invitational (Feb. 12-13, +8, 872), tied for third at the Inverness Intercollegiate (Sept. 18-19, -3, 565), fourth at both the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (Feb. 16-18, -16, 848) and the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational (Oct. 29-31, -37, 827) and tied for fourth at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate (Oct. 20-22, -18, 846). The Bruins are a combined 48-under par on the season, including 39-under in their final rounds.

Yoshihara is tops on the team with a 72.0 scoring average, including a combined 6-under in his final rounds. He has five Top 10s, six Top 20s, 12 under-par rounds and seven in the 60s. Yoshihara tied for second at The Farms (-3, 213), was solo third at the Southwestern (-3, 213), tied for third at Marquette (-2, 214), tied for sixth at Inverness (-4, 138) and tied for seventh at El Macero (+6, 222). The sophomore's top round of the season came in the final round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate when he shot a 7-under 65. Yoshihara also tied for 11th at the Jackrabbit (-2, 214) with a closing 4-under 68.

Collier, who on April 6 earned his Mackenzie Tour - PGA TOUR Canada card for the first four events of 2018, has three Top 10s and six Top 20s on the season, recording 11 under-par rounds and four in the 60s. He tied for seventh at the Bruins' last tournament in El Macero (+7, 223), his second Top 11 finish in a row after tying for 11th at the Jackrabbit Invitational (-2, 214). Collier closed the Jackrabbit with a pair of 1-under 71s. The senior has been in the Top 20 in five of his six events of the spring, including a ninth at the Wyoming Desert (-7, 209) and a T-9 at the Southwestern (+1, 217). His final rounds have been outstanding, as Collier is a combined 16-under in round threes. He recorded his best round of the season (6-under 66) in his last trip at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate.

Madey is second on the team with a 72.2 scoring average, recording four Top 10s and eight Top 20s. He has 13 under-par rounds and seven in the 60s. He has five Top 20s in the spring, placing fourth at the Southwestern (-1, 215). Madey also tied for seventh at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (-8, 208), tied for 12th at The Farms (+3, 219), was solo 13th at the Jackrabbit (-1, 215) and tied for 19th at the El Macero Classic (+10, 226). His two other Top 10s came at the Makai Invite (7th, -14, 202) and Inverness (T-9, -3, 139). Madey has been under par in all three rounds of a tournament twice at the Makai Invite and Wyoming Intercollegiate.

Bling was victorious at the Jackrabbit Invitational (-15, 201) for his first-ever win, shooting a 5-under 67, a 3-under 69 and a 7-under 65, with his final round tying a season low. He also tied for fifth at El Macero (+5, 221) and the Southwestern (E, 216). Bling recorded two other Top 20s (Makai Invite, T-16, -8, 208 and The Farms, T-17, +4, 220). When Bling breaks par, there is a good chance it'll be a round in the 60s, as nine of his 12 under-par rounds have been below 70, including a combined 9-under in his final rounds. The freshman's other 7-under 65 occurred during the first round of the Makai Invite.

Lai's top finish of the season came at the Jackrabbit when he was solo fifth (-6, 210), closing with a 6-under 66, which was a season low. The freshman has five Top 20s, tying for 12th at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate (-5, 211), tying for 16th at the Marquette (+5, 221), tying for 18th at the Southwestern (+6, 222) and tying for 20th at Inverness (E, 142). Lai has 12 under-par rounds with six in the 60s. He shot a 5-under 67 in his second round of the Makai Invite and four other 3-under rounds this season.

Murphy has played in eight tournaments, recording three Top 20s and two under-par rounds. He is coming off his best showing of the season when he tied for seventh at the El Macero Classic (+6, 222). Murphy also tied for 17th at the Bill Cullum Invitational (E, 216) and tied for 18th at the TMU Spring Invitational (+10, 226). Murphy's best round of the season came in round one at the Cullum when he posted a 3-under 69. He also recorded a 2-under 70 in round one of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate.
