MVB Hosts Pre-Season Matches on Friday-Saturday

The defending national champion UCLA men's volleyball team will host teams from USC, UC Santa Barbara and CSUN this weekend in the annual SAC Fall Invitational on campus.

Matches will be held on Friday (4:30 and 7 p.m.) and will continue all day on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. The Bruins will field "A" and "B" teams which will open up against CSUNย "A"ย and UCSBย "A", respectively, on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and then come back on Saturday at 9 am with UCLA "A" to face UC Santa Barbara "A". UCLA "B" squares off with USC "A" at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and then UCLA "A"ย closes out the tournament with a 2ย p.m. contestย against CSUN "B".
All matches will be held in the Student Activities Center (SAC) Gym on campusย and will be best three-out-of five sets. There is limited court side seating available and admission is free. Fans shouldย use the main entrance of the Student Activities Center located on the north end of the building which faces Wilson Plaza.ย
UCLA opens up the 2024 regular season on Jan. 4 with matches against Fort Valley State (5 p.m.) and Morehouseย (7:30 p.m.) in Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom.
