Five Bruins Named to Off the Block Preseason All-A Team

Five Bruin men's volleyball players were named to the Off the Block Preseason All-America team on Wednesday ahead of UCLA's Jan. 4 start to the 2024 regular season. Middle blocker Merrick McHenry, outside hitter Ethan Champlin, opposite Ido David and setter Andrew Rowan were selected to the first team. 2023 NCAA Tournament MVP Alex Knight was picked to the second team.
UCLA will host Fort Valley State and Morehouse College to begin its national championship title defense on Thursday, Jan. 4 in Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom. The Bruins take on Fort Valley at 5 p.m. and Morehouse at 7:30 p.m.
