UCLA Rowing Prepares for Dexter Lake Invitational

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA women's rowing team returns to action at the Dexter Lake Invitational in Lowell, Ore., on Saturday, April 29.
 
The Bruins will be one of eight teams in the collegiate field on Saturday, competing in eight races during morning and afternoon sessions. UCLA will race three varsity eight crews and one varsity four boat in its final spring event before the season-culminating Pac-12 Championships.
 
Saturday's racing will begin for UCLA at approximately 8:20 a.m. with the varsity four crew. The other three morning races include the second varsity eight (8:40 a.m.), the varsity eight (9 a.m.) and the third varsity eight (9:20 a.m.).
 
UCLA's afternoon races are scheduled to begin at 12:20 p.m. with the varsity four boat. The final three races, in order, will feature the second varsity eight (12:40 p.m.), the varsity eight (1 p.m.) and the third varsity eight (1:20 p.m.).
 
In addition to UCLA, the rowing competitors will include Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount, Minnesota, Oregon State, Central Florida, USC and Wisconsin.
 
The races will take place on Dexter Lake at the Lowell State Park, located at 850 Shore Line Drive in Lowell, Ore.
