Women's Rowing Prepares for Big Ten Invitational

The UCLA women's rowing program will return to action this week at the Big Ten Invitational, set to take place April 7-8 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla.
The Bruins will race their two varsity eight crews and two varsity four boats on Friday, in morning and late afternoon sessions. Those four crews will also compete on Saturday morning in Sarasota. The Big Ten Invitational's rowing website is available here.
In addition to UCLA, this year's field of competitors includes No. 19 Alabama, No. 6 Brown, Central Florida (UCF), No. 12 Duke, No. 20 Indiana, Iowa, No. 13 Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, No. 11 Ohio State, Rutgers, No. 15 Southern Methodist (SMU), No. 2 Stanford, No. 18 Tennessee and Wisconsin.
Fifteen of the 16 teams in this year's field are either ranked in or receiving votes in the latest Pocock CRCA racing poll (top-20).
The races will be viewable online through a live stream (available here). The live stream link will not be activated until Friday morning, prior to the races (the HereNow.com link will be available in the Big Ten Invite event space).
