MATCHUP HISTORY: UCLA vs. SOUTH CAROLINA
• Sunday's matinee will be the sixth meeting between the Bruins and Gamecocks in program history, with South Carolina holding a 4-1 record in the all-time series. South Carolina has emerged victorious in four-straight contests; UCLA's last win came on Jan. 5, 1981.
• UCLA saw the Gamecocks twice during the 2022-23 season, which included a Nov. 29 trip to Columbia. The Bruins fell 73-64 behind a 24-point, 6-rebound outing from Charisma Osborne. Then-freshman guard Kiki Rice added 16 points to the scoreboard.
• The programs met again in the Sweet Sixteen during the 2023 March Madness tournament. Osborne was the lone Bruin in double figures, scoring 14 with seven rebounds and a pair of assists. UCLA lost 59-43, ending its postseason run.

LAST TIME OUT: W, 101-52 vs. Arkansas (Nov. 17)
• Three Bruins finished with double-doubles in the blowout win over Arkansas last Sunday. Junior Lauren Betts recorded her third of the season, scoring 20 points and securing 12 rebounds in the victory. Graduate student Angela Dugalic had career-highs in points (18), rebounds (15) and steals (4). Junior Janiah Barker (17 points, 12 rebounds) claimed her second-consecutive double-double off the bench; Barker shot an efficient 6-for-9 and snagged three steals against the Razorbacks.
• Junior Timea Gardiner joined Dugalic with a career night of her own; the Oregon State transfer connected on 7-of-12 3-point attempts for a new single-game career-high in 3FGM (7) and points (23).
• UCLA dominated the boards, cleaning the glass with a +38 margin (UCLA 65-27 Arkansas). The Bruins secured 29 offensive rebounds in the game, leading to 28 second-chance points.
