UCLA Track and Field Closes Out Split Squad Competition at the Stanford Invitational

STANFORD, CALIF. - UCLA Track and Field closed out its pair of meets this week at the Stanford Invitational hosted by Stanford University at the Cobb Track and Angell Field in Stanford, Calif. on Saturday night.

With the meet taking place from Friday, March 29 to Saturday, March 30, the Bruins captured event victories in the women's hammer throw and the women's discus throw. A third-place podium finish in the women's shot put invitational and three top-10 finishes in the men's 200m, the men's 400m, and the women's triple jump were also secured.

In her collegiate debut of the event, sophomore Bella Browne claimed the 10thย overall spot on UCLA's All-Time Top 10 Outdoor list in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:36.42.
