Gameday Information – UCLA vs. Maryland

The UCLA football team, coming off back-to-back wins, welcomes Maryland to the Rose Bowl for its Homecoming Game on Saturday, Oct. 18. Kickoff for the Big Ten Conference contest is set for 4:05 p.m. (PT). Tickets to Saturday afternoon's game can be purchased online at uclabruins.com/tickets.
The game will be televised on FS1 with broadcasters Noah Reed (play-by-play) and Robert Smith (analyst) on call. Fans can tune their radio stations to KABC-AM 790, which will serve as the new exclusive home for UCLA Athletics, and listen to longtime play-by-play announcer Josh Lewin and former UCLA quarterbacks Matt Stevens (analyst) and Wayne Cook (sideline).
Parking
Parking lots for UCLA vs. Maryland will open at 10 a.m. Parking is sold by the City of Pasadena for $38 per car in advance and $43 on game day and can be purchased here. Fans are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and pre-purchase parking online for a $5 discount off on-site pricing. RV parking is located on West drive. No overnight RV parking is available.
Gameday parking is also available at the Parsons complex parking lot in Pasadena. Access to the lot is at 100 W. Walnut Street, off Fair Oaks Avenue. The free shuttle runs continuously beginning three hours prior to kickoff until one hour following the conclusion of the game. Parking in the Parsons lot can be purchased on-site on gameday for a maximum of $24.
Fan Zone
The Rose Bowl, ranked by ESPN in 2024 as the No. 2 college football stadium, offers one of the best tailgating experiences in college football. The Area H Fan Zone opens to all fans from 11:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and is located in Lot H, just outside Gates A and B. The Fan Zone includes a wide variety of exciting gameday experiences, such as tailgating parties, food vendors, activities, exhibits, beer gardens, musical performances and more.
BruinFest
Steps away from the stadium along the North side near Gates E & N is BruinFest, which is free and open to the public. BruinFest opens at 10 a.m. and features beer gardens, games, inflatables and live music.
Headlining BruinFest this week is electronic music artist BUNT., known for his song "Clouds", which has amassed over 275 million streams since its release in 2023. Named by Spotify as one of their 10 Dance Artists to Watch, BUNT. is in the midst of a world-wide tour and was a featured artist at Coachella this part April. BUNT. will take the BruinFest stage at 2:30 p.m. following DJ Rent Free's opening set at 1:45 p.m.
REVELxp
Fans can enhance their pre-game experience with hassle-free, premium full-service tailgates courtesy of REVELxp. Bruin Walk
Fans are encouraged to cheer on the Bruins as they arrive at the edge of the Area H Fan Zone on Rosemont Avenue and walk through the Fan Zone into the Rose Bowl Stadium by Gate A. The Bruins are scheduled to arrive at Area H, where they will be greeted by the UCLA Spirit Squad at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The UCLA Marching Band, as well as the UCLA Alumni Band will also perform at Bruin Walk.
Entertainment
Pregame
Rose Bowl gates open at 2:30 p.m. Entertainment options include a joint performance with the UCLA Spirit Squad and Alumni Band at 2:30 p.m. in Area H. The Alumni Band will take stage next at the Court of Champions at 3:15 p.m. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 3:30 p.m.
In-Game
UCLA will celebrate its 1976 and 1986 Rose Bowl Team reunions between the first and second quarters. The Bruins defeated No. 1-ranked Ohio State in the 1976 Rose Bowl, 23-10, and No.-4 ranked Iowa in the 1986 Rose Bowl, 45-28.
Fans will also be treated to performances from the Elegant Bruinettes and UCLA Dance Team during Saturday afternoon's contest against the Terrapins.
The UCLA Alumni Band, celebrating its 50th anniversary, will be recognized on the field during halftime. Shortly after, the 250-piece ensemble of The Solid Gold Sound of the UCLA Marching Band will play the Bruins' fight song "Sons of Westwood."
Honorary Captains
Former UCLA defenseman Glenn Love (2007-11) will serve as Honorary Captain for Saturday's game against Maryland. Love, who played in 48 games over four years as either a defensive back or linebacker and on special teams, is also the founder of the Love Life ALS Foundation. The Love Life ALS Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to providing holistic, innovative, and comprehensive support for individuals and families affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Nelson C. Rising Recognition
UCLA will also be honoring the life and legacy of former Bruin football player Nelson C. Rising during halftime. Rising graduated from UCLA with honors in 1963. In 1967, he graduated from the UCLA School of Law with honors while serving on the UCLA Law Review. He was a respected Los Angeles-based real estate developer and a political and civic leader who helped shape the built and political environment of leading California cities. He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from 1963-66.
As a longtime Pasadena resident, Nelson was a key founding member of the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, the Stadium's nonprofit organization. The Legacy Foundation has raised over $70 million since Nelson's vision established this key organization over 15 years ago. As a result of donations to the Legacy Foundation, the West Bridge located near the Stadium's Court of Champions will be named as the "NELSON C. RISING LEGACY BRIDGE."
