October 23, 2025 | Swimming & Diving

ANN ARBOR โ€“ The No. 23 UCLA Swimming and Diving team is set to return to action this weekend with a tri-meet against No. 10 Michigan and vote-receiving Northwestern in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The meet is set to get underway on Saturday, October 25 at 9 a.m. PT, with a live stream available at B1G+ ($) and live results available on MeetMobile($).

The meet will be the second of the young season for the Bruins, as well as the first true road meet after making the short drive to USC the meet prior.

In last week's invitational meet, UCLA finished third of four teams. The four teams that competed the weekend of October 10-12 were all ranked, with No. 9 USC and No. 12 Indiana finishing ahead of the Bruins, while No. 25 Texas A&M rounded out the field.

Against a field loaded with talent at the USC invite, the Bruins had multiple standout performances. On the first day of competition, the Bruins had six podium finishes. Sarah Bennetts earned UCLA's first event win of the weekend in the 100 breast, touching the wall in 1:00.59 to take the win.

Additionally, senior Rosie Murphy placed second in the 400 IM, and also took second overall in the 200 IM. UCLA's 400 medley relay team of Fay Lustria, Sarah Bennetts, Jada Duncan, and Gizem Guvenc earned the Bruins a third-place finish in 3:34.52, while the 200 free relay squad also took third in 1:29.77.

On the diving side of things, Eden Cheng snagged fourth place in the 1m competition with a score of 271.05, while Molly Brascia finished seventh overall with a score of 236.85.
