UCLA CONTINUES BIG TEN PLAY AT OREGON, HOSTS NORTHWESTERN
The UCLA women's volleyball team continues Big Ten action on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. (PT) when it travels for a contest at Oregon. The Bruins will then return to Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom Financial to host Northwestern on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. (PT) to complete the weekend.
FIRST SERVE
LAST TIME OUT
After a tough straight-set loss to No. 22 USC, where UCLA out-hit the Trojans but was undone by service errors and USC's balanced offense, the Bruins bounced back with a four-set win over Washington, led by Marianna Singletary's career-high 16 kills and a dominant defensive effort. Despite strong performances from Maggie Li, Cheridyn Leverette, and Kate Duffey in both matches, UCLA's service struggles cost them against USC, while improved blocking and back-row defense helped secure the victory over Washington, lifting the Bruins to a 13-9 overall record and 7-5 in Big Ten play.
