TUCSON, Ariz. โ€“ The No. 23 UCLA swim and dive program fell at Arizona on Saturday afternoon, 160-139, at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center on the campus of Arizona.

UCLA earned nine individual event wins on the day, including Jada Duncan and Rosie Murphy who won multiple events each.

Arizona opened the meet with a win in the 400 medley relay, before Applejean Gwinn recorded UCLA's first event win of the day in the first individual event of the day, the 1000 free. She touched the wall in 10:01.09, while Beril Bocekler came in third in the event in 10:08.71.

Up next for the Bruins in the 100 back, Claudia Yovanovich and Rosie Murphy went 1-2 in the event. Yovanovich took the win in 52.43, while Murphy touched the wall right behind her in 52.46.

Sarah Bennetts continued her solid weekend with a second-place finish in the 100 breast, while Katrina Bellio took third in the 200 free.

ย ย The Bruins then took first and third in the 200 fly, with Ashley Kolessar taking the top spot in 2:00.38, while Gwinn finished third in 2:01.59.

Jada Duncan continued her strong weekend with a second-place finish in the 50 free, touching the wall in 22.13, and followed that with a first-place showing in the 100 free, winning in 48.52.

Fresh off of setting a school record in the 200 backstroke in a win at ASU on Friday, Murphy took first in the 200 back on Saturday at Arizona. The senior won the discipline in 1:53.16, while Yovanovich took third in 1:58.45.

Bennetts added a second place in the 200 breast before Duncan added her second event win of the day. The freshman took the top spot in the 100 fly in 52.36.

Murphy rounded out the individual events with a win in the 200 IM. The Sacramento, Calif. native won the event in 1:57.09, while Kolessar finished second in 2:02.76.

As for the diving events, Molly Brascia and Eden Cheng both had strong performances on Saturday. Brascia took the win in the 3m championship with a score of 303.38, just edging out Cheng in second who earned a total score of 303.08.

In the 1m competition, Cheng took second in the event, scoring 267.98 points.
