โข UCLA was unable to overcome a 20-point halftime deficit despite a strong second-half comeback effort; the Bruins got within four points in the fourth quarter but shot 0-for-5 on their last five attempts in the game.

โข The Bruins began the year with six of their first eight games being played at neutral site locations. โข Senior Gabriela Jaquez has impressed to start her final season with the blue and gold. She's averaging a career-best 14.8 points per game; the wing has scored in double figures in seven of her 10 games this year.
โข She had a perfect game against the USF Bulls on Nov. 15, shooting 7-for-7 from the field and 3-for-3 from the free throw line for a game-high 17 points.
โข Jaquez eclipsed 1,000-career points on her first basket against Southern on Nov. 23.
โข Gabs had a game-leading 23 points (8-16 FG, 3-5 3FG, 4-4 FT) against Duke to close out the Players Era tournament. She was a team-high +34 in 36 minutes on the floor.

โข She had back-to-back 20-point games against UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 6) and No. 6 Oklahoma (Nov. 10). She was 4-for-8 from long distance against the Gauchos.

โข The guard is aggressively hunting rebounds, averaging a career-high 7.1 boards; she leads UCLA with 57 defensive rebounds. Rice's rebounding numbers took a dip in 2024-25 (3.5 RPG) after a strong 2023-24 campaign (5.7 RPG).
