December 22, 2025 | Men's Basketball
CHICAGO โ UCLA senior guard Skyy Clark has been honored as the Big Ten Conference's Co-Player of the Week, securing the Big Ten's weekly honor for the first time as a Bruin.
ย
Clark shares this week's conference honor with Rutgers junior guard Tariq Francis. This marks the first time in Clark's four-year collegiate career in which he has secured conference Player of the Week recognition.
ย
In his second season in UCLA's program, Clark becomes UCLA's first conference player of the week since February of 2024, when then-sophomore guard Dylan Andrews was recognized as the Pac-12 Player of the Week. Over two games last week, Clark averaged 24.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He shot 50.0 percent from the field and 54.5 percent from 3-point range (12-for-22) and was a perfect 4-for-4 at the free throw line.
ย
Clark became UCLA's first player in school history to have knocked down six or more 3-pointers in back-to-back games, going 6-for-10 against Arizona State last Wednesday before hitting 6 of 12 long-range attempts versus Cal Poly on Friday. Clark scored a season-high 30 points in the win over Cal Poly, two nights after he scored 18 points versus Arizona State. Over UCLA's last five games, Clark has shot 57.5 percent from 3-point distance (23-for-40) while averaging 18.8 points per game.
ย
Clark has averaged 14.2 points and 3.0 rebounds in all 12 games for UCLA this season. He currently leads all Big Ten players in 3-point shooting percentage (51.6%) and ranks No. 6, nationally, in that statistical category.
ย
UCLA (9-3) will host UC Riverside (6-7) in the final non-conference game of the season for the Bruins this Tuesday afternoon. Game time inside Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom Financial is set for 1 p.m. (PT). The Bruins' home game will be televised on Big Ten Network.
