Campbell Named UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week

LOS ANGELES – Graduate student Chae Campbell of UCLA Gymnastics has been selected the Student-Athlete of the Week for competitions held between March 18-24.
Campbell won the all-around title at the Big Ten Championships, leading UCLA to a Big Ten Championship record score of 198.450. The score is also a new season-high for the Bruins and the No. 4 team score in UCLA history. Campbell recorded career-best marks of 39.725 in the all-around and 9.950 on balance beam and season-best marks of 9.925 on vault and 9.900 on uneven bars. In addition to her all-around victory, she earned third-place finishes on vault and beam and was fourth on floor exercise with a 9.950. Campbell's scores helped UCLA record a season-high-tying 49.350 on vault, a school record-tying 49.750 on beam and a season-high-tying and Big Ten record 49.800 on floor.
She secures her first-career UCLA student-athlete of the week award.
