Fiorellini Named to All-Big Ten Second Team

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Freshman Francesca Fiorellini on the UCLA women's golf team was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team, the conference office announced Monday.
Senior Tiffany Le also received conference recognition as UCLA's Sportsmanship Award honoree.
Fiorellini has registered a 73.6 scoring average over 21 rounds and eight tournaments in her debut campaign. The top-ranked Italian amateur was the only Bruin to earn medalist honors this season with a podium finish at the Bruin Wave Invitational at Valencia Country Club on Feb. 25. Fiorellini shot under par in all three rounds to finish -9, 207 (69-68-70). Fiorellini, Le and senior Natalie Vo are all currently tied for the team lead with six rounds under par.
Fiorellini posted one other top-20 placement at the Windy City Collegiate Classic where she tied for 13th at +5 (72-72-77).
Le owns a 73.1 scoring average through 21 rounds in her second season at UCLA. The Covina, Calif. native recorded her best finish since arriving at Westwood earlier this season with a runner-up finish at the Bruin Wave Invitational (+1, 217). Last year, Le helped the Bruins reach the match play final of the 2024 NCAA Championships.
