Races begin at 9:05 a.m. PT on Friday; six races are planned for the day. The 4V8+ and Novice 8+ shells will head out first, starting off the morning of competition. The first four-person boats launch with the 3V4+ racing at 9:25 a.m. PT. The 2V4+ and 1V4+ follow the third varsity four at 9:45 and 10:05, respectively. Focus shifts back to the eight-person shells with the 2V8+ at 10:25 a.m. PT; the day will conclude with the 1V8+ going off at 10:45 a.m. PT.
There will be 23 points available in the six races Friday in pursuit of the Amy Fuller Kearney-Lori Guerro Azbill Trophy. The trophy honors former UCLA head coach Amy Fuller Kearney, who led the program from its NCAA inaugural season in 2001-02 through 2020-21, and former USC assistant coach Lori Guerro Azbill. The winning team will be presented the Amy Fuller Kearney-Lori Guerro Azbill Trophy for the UCLA-USC competition immediately after the meet.
