If you could be a professional athlete in any other sport except your own, who would you be and why? Beach volleyball because I would be tall and skinny with a nice athletic body.
Do you have any pre-game superstitions? I give my horseshoe necklace to my assistant coach (Kelly Inouye-Perez)
Who inspired you to play your sport? My brothers
What was your most embarrassing moment in a game? Leading off of first base and tripping on my own feet
What was your favorite sport other than your own? Basketball
If you could give advice to a young kid playing your sport, what would it be? Have fun and play hard
I chose my uniform number (#10) because: My middle brother was #10 so I wanted to be like him when I was little and the number just stuck.
