    Senior Christina Bowen (Danville, CA/San Ramon HS) of the UCLA Women's Cross Country Team was selected as the UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 16-22.

    Bowen placed first at the Titan Cross Country Invitational with a winning time of 17:35.3 over the 5000m course. The win propelled the Bruin team to a first-place showing and was her third individual win this year. She has been UCLA's top runner in five of the Bruins? six meets in 2000.
