JD Lake enters his first season as a full-time recruiting analyst for the UCLA football program in 2026.

Lake specializes in strategic talent identification, analyzing recruiting trends and directing UCLA summer camps. He served the Bruinsโ recruiting office in a part-time role during the 2025 campaign.

Lake has spent several years in equipment offices at both the college and professional levels. While completing his undergraduate degree, Lake was a student equipment manager for the Oregon State football program. He finished his time in Corvallis with a bachelorโs in business administration, management and operations with a focus in supply chain and logistics.

A native of St. Louis, Mo., Lake acquired his first experience working in sports as an equipment intern for the Los Angeles Rams during their first two years back in Southern California while attending nearby Agoura High School in 2016-17.
