Earned a varsity letter at Moorpark College for head coach Remy McCarthy in 2005-06 ... played in all 32 games, starting at forward, while averaging 10.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.7 steals, 0.8 assists and 0.8 blocks per game ... known for his defense, coach McCarthy said he recorded over 75 drawn charges during the 2005-06 season ... led the squad in field goal percentage at 62.9 percent (129-for-205) from the floor ... didn't attempt a single three-point field goal ... his season high in scoring was 20 points ... had more offensive rebounds (115) than offensive boards (107) on the year ... the Raiders were 25-7 and 11-1 in conference in 2005-06 and made it to the Regional Finals ... he earned the team's Best Defensive Player Award as Moorpark won the Western State Conference championship in 2006.
