Entered four meets for the Bruins ... Made his season debut at the Beach Opener, running the 3000m in 9:42.10 ... Set a best time in the 1500m (4:15.40) during the USC dual meet on May 4 ... Named to the UCLA Athletic Director's Honor Roll for winter and spring quarters.

Did not compete for the Bruins ... Named to the Fall 2024 Academic All-Big Ten Team ... Named to the UCLA Athletic Director's Honor Roll for fall quarter.

Ran two races in his freshman season … Made his UCLA debut at the LMU South Bay Twilight, running a 26:27.1 in the 8k race for a 32nd place finish.

Attended Great Oak High School, running varsity cross country and track & field all four years there ... Earned second-team all-state in cross country in 2022 ... Helped Great Oak win the 2022 CIF Division I State Cross Country Championship, running 15:32.7 to place 16th in the state ... Was his high school’s top-finisher at the 2021 state championship meet when the team earned state runner-up.

Born in Riverside, Calif., to parents Frank and Florina ... Has an older brother, Isaac, and older sister, Fatima ... His twin brother Mark also runs for the Bruins ... Decided to attend UCLA because it “seemed like the perfect combination of athletics and academics in a beautiful area with lots to do” ... Says Ashton Eaton is the athlete he most admires ... Also interested in basketball, football, spikeball, hiking, and says he is a “big fan of roller coasters”... Majoring in physiological science with a career objective of becoming an anesthesiologist or pediatrician.
