Ended the season with an overall record of 23-12 (47-19 career) … had the most wins on the team, which was tied for the forth-most wins in a single season in ASU history … played all but one match across the top two courts, pairing with three different Sun Devils, playing the most with Daniella Kensinger … ranks 10th at ASU in career wins … had ranked wins over the No. 2 pair from No. 1 TCU and the No. 3 pair from No. 4 LMU at the Center of Effort Challenge … went 4-0 at the Wildcat Spring Challenge (with Ava Kirunchyk), including a win over the No. 2 pair from No. 1 TCU … went 5-0 at the No. 2 court with partner Ava Kirunchyk against Arizona and at the ASU/GCU Invitational, including a ranked win over No. 19 Washington … picked up ranked wins over the No. 1 pairs from No. 20 Florida International and No. 18 Georgia State at the East vs. West Tournament … went 4-0 at the Cactus Classic with partner Daniella Kensinger, picking up wins over the No. 1 pairs from No. 20 Stetson and No. 18 GCU … opened the season with a win over No. 12 Hawai'i.
2024 (ARIZONA STATE)
Ended the season with an overall record of 24-7 (24-7 career), helping lead the team to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history… her season record was the third-best single-season mark in ASU history … she played on the top two courts, starting on the twos with Arden Besecker before switching to the ones with Daniella Kensinger … earned two wins on court one with Daniella Kensinger in the Pac-12 Championships, including an upset over the duo from No. 8 California … got a win over No. 19 Arizona's top pair in Tucson … picked up three wins on court one at Pac-12 North alongside Daniella Kensinger, including a win over No. 13 Washington … extended her winning streak to 11 in a row on court one with Daniella Kensinger after defeating No. 18 Stetson and No. 16 GCU … extended her winning streak with Arden Besecker to nine in a row after an undefeated weekend at the Fight in the Fort Tournament, including an upset over No. 4 TCU on court two and wins over No. 13 FIU and No. 14 Washingtonwent 4-0 at the LBSU Tournament with Arden Besecker, including a win against a pair from No. 7 Long Beach State … at the Pac-12 South Tournament, she upset the pair from No. 2 Stanford with Arden Besecker on court two at the Pac-12 South Tournament and also got a win over a duo from No. 19 Arizona to help get the rivalry dual win … made her collegiate debut with two wins over pairs from ranked teams (No. 12 Georgia State, No. 17 South Carolina) on court two with Arden Besecker to help ASU go 4-0, the best start in program history.

A three-year indoor volleyball letter winner at opposite at Dripping Springs High School … also competed in the high jump for four years on the track and field team at DSHS … led her team to a 6A State Volleyball Championship in 2022 and a 3rd place finish at the 5A State Championship in 2020 … 2022 volleyball honors include Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Academic All-State Team; Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All-State Team; TGCA Legacy All-Star; District 26-6A First Team All-District; Tiger Volleyball Most Valuable Player … also earned First-Team Academic All-District honors and Second-Team All-District honors in 2021 … DSHS finished as the runner-up at the District 26-5A Texas State Regional Volleyball Tournament … owned the school record in the high jump and twice qualified for the State Championship in the event (5A in 2021 and 6A in 2022) … named a First Team Academic All-State selection in track in 2022 … played club for Texas Volleyball Team (TVT) … placed third at the 2023 P1440 Junior National Championships (18U) and at the 2022 West Coast AAU Junior Olympic Games (18U) … took first at the third annual Texas Cup (16U) in 2021 … was a USAV National Training and Development Team member … named P1440 Rising Star.

Full name: Ava Grace Williamson … Born in Austin, Texas … parents are John and Donna Williamson … has one younger brother, Scott Williamson, and one older sister, Audrey Williamson … sister, Audrey, ran track for four years at Baylor, while her father, John, played basketball at Texas-San Antonio for two years and at Baylor for two years … says she chose UCLA because,“... of the amazing team culture and coaching staff that pushes everyone to be their best. I also love the location and the campus is beautiful.” … lists her greatest athletic thrill as when she and her partner beat the No. 2 team in the country her freshman year to start the biggest upset that ASU has ever had … the athlete she admires most is Serena Williams because she paved the way for a lot of female athletes and she overcame so much adversity within her career … enjoys anything to do with being on or near the water, including swimming, wakesurfing and being at the beach and also loves reading and hanging out with friends … majoring in sociology.
