Rowed in the varsity four and an open eight crew as a sophomore...rowed in the varsity four `A' crew in dual-meet wins to open the season against Loyola Marymount (March 5) and San Diego State (March 13)...rowed three seat against LMU and two seat versus SDSU...stroked the Bruins' open eight at the San Diego Crew Classic (April 1-2), finishing first on Saturday and second on Sunday...rowed in the V4+ `B' crew against USC (April 30)...rowed three seat in the collegiate four at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships (May 14).

Rowed bow seat in the N8+ `B' boat in a dual-meet win over San Diego State (March 13) during the second weekend of the spring season.

Two-year varsity soccer letterwinner under head coach Steve Solar at Los Alamitos High School...helped lead the soccer team to the 2008 and 2009 Sunset League Championship...guided Los Alamitos to a CIF Southern Section Division I runner-up finish in 2009, leading the varsity team to a fourth-place finish at the CIF Division I state finals.
