Played in 30 matches, making five starts … earned 2015 ACWPC All-Academic "Superior" honors ... was fifth on the team in scoring, with 30 goals on 62 attempts, converting at a 48.4 percent rate ... scored a season- and career-high five goals in a 24-3 win against Chapman (Sept. 19) ... he scored at least one goal in 15 of 30 games he played, including eight multiple goal games ... also had 15 assists, 22 steals (5th on the team) and five field blocks (10th on the team) ... was fourth on the team in sprints won with 24.
Team USA
2015: Played in all eight games (82 minutes), making two starts for Team USA at the 2015 World University Games in Gwangju, South Korea (July 2-14) … he scored two goals on four shots, converting at a 50.0 percent rate … also tallied three steals and one field block as the United States captured bronze at the World University Games.
High School
Three-year (2012-14) varsity water polo letterwinner at Agoura High School under head coaches Mark Jones and later Jason Rosenthal (2014) … earned numerous All-Marmonte League accolades throughout his prep career for the Chargers … also earned first team All-CIF honors in 2013 … Agoura High won three CIF Championships while he was a member of the squad … also named USAWP Academic All-American … he also won multiple MVP awards and multiple national championships while playing club ball with the Los Angeles Water Polo Club.

Full name: Spencer Mitchell Farrar … born April 13, 1997 in Santa Monica, Calif. … his parents are Chris and Christy Farrar … has two older sisters, Kelsey and Alyse and one younger sister, Tess as well as one younger brother, Wyatt … competed with Los Angeles Water Polo Club and Bruin Water Polo Club as well as with the U.S. Cadet and Junior National Teams … says he chose UCLA because “I really connected well with the team and the coaching staff. The location was a major factor ... gotta love Los Angeles. Last but not least, the education. UCLA is one of the top schools in the country for higher education.” … lists surfing as one of his hobbies … list the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant as the professional athlete he most admires … became a U.S. record holder for the United States Lifesaving Association (USLA) at the 2014 Rescue, Life Saving World Championships, held in Montpellier and La Grande Motte, France … lists "Seeing hard work pay off and being able to feel confident in pressure situations because you know you've put in the hard work" as his biggest athletic thrill … has yet to declare a major.
