
Bruins Win Husky Dino Cup Title

The UCLA men's volleyball team won its fourth match in three days, defeating the University of Saskatchewan 3-0 to claim the Husky Dino Cup title in Calgary.
The Bruins won 25-20, 25-21, 25-17 in front of 1,150 fans in 90 minutes. The victory was the Bruins' fourth Husky Dino Cup championship in the 18-year history of the event.
Senior hitter Kris Kraushaar led the Bruins with eight kills (.500), and sophomore Steve Klosterman added seven as the Bruins hit .354 to the Huskies' percentage of .081. Julio "Gaby" Acevedo recorded 30 set assists and junior libero Aaron Wexler added eight digs. Senior Paul Johnson led the Bruins with six block assists as UCLA controlled the net by out-blocking the Huskies, 12.5-4.0.
Kraushaar was named Player of the Match. Johnson and seniors Allan Vince and Jonathan Acosta were named to the tournament all-star team.
