The No.1 ranked UCLA men's volleyball team defeated the Alumni team in three games Friday night in Pauley Pavilion.
The Bruin varsity won 30-15, 30-28, 30-26.
Senior Allan Vince and Paul Johnson combined for 16 kills without an error to lead the Bruins. Johnson served a match-high three aces as the Bruins recorded eight aces for the night.
Former All-Americans Mark Williams and Seth Burnham led the Alumni team with nine and seven kills, respectively. Williams also led the former Bruins with eight digs.
On Tues., Mar. 8, UCLA hosts fourth-ranked Penn State in a non-conference match beginning at 7 p.m. in Pauley Pavilion. Head Coach Al Scates will be looking for his historic 1,100th career victory.
