Softball Falls to Hawai'i at Regionals

LOS ANGELES - UCLA dropped a 3-1 eight-inning game against Hawai'i at the Los Angeles Regional on Saturday afternoon. The Bruins will return to action against the winner of the UC Santa Barbara-Loyola Marymount game that is currently in progress.
The Bruins and Rainbow Wahine played five scoreless innings before each team plated a run in the sixth inning. After trading zeroes in the sixth, Hawai'i used a two-run double to take the lead in the eighth.
UCLA and either Loyola Marymount or UC Santa Barbara will take the field approximately 25 minutes following the conclusion of the LMU-UCSB game. The winner of today's third game will face undefeated Hawai'i on Sunday at 2:30 pm PT.
