The UCLA track & field team recorded four collegiate PR's between the Pacific Intercollegiate/Beach Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays on Thursday.

It was a special outing for senior Michael Fancey, who cleared a regional-qualifying and career-best 5.21m (17-1), which put him tied for 19th in the West Region.

Justin Stafford also had a strong performance on the field, recording a PR of 67.74m (222-3) to win the hammer and solidify his spot at No. 4 in UCLA history.

Pacific Intercollegiate/Beach Invitational
Along with Fancey's fifth-place finish, UCLA got a solid performance from Tate Curran, who finished in eighth place with a mark of 5.06m (16-7.25).

On the women's side of the pole vault, Elleyse Garrett tied for seventh overall, clearing 3.90m (12-9.5) on her first attempt.

In the discus, Dotun Ogundeji placed fourth with an effort of 55.33m (181-06), while Otito Ogbonnia placed 19th overall (49.55m; 162-07).

Stafford wasn't the only one who PR'ed in the hammer. Jacob Wilson also got the job done, posting a throw of 62.45m (204-11) to place sixth overall.

Alyssa Wilson, who broke a Drake Stadium and became the first Bruin to post a hammer throw of at least 70 meters, heaved 68.29m (224-0) to take third place.

In the 3000m steeple, Taylor Taite recorded a collegiate-best time of 10:39.85, the ninth-fastest time in program history, to finish third overall, and Jackie Garner posted a time of 36:16.54 in the 10K to place 18th.
