Bruins Take to Texas for A&M’s Arturo Barrios Invitational

LOS ANGELES – UCLA Cross Country heads to College Station, Texas, to compete in Texas A&M-hosted Arturo Barrios Invitational on Friday, Oct. 13.
The meet will take place at the Dale Watts Cross Country Course; the men's 8k race takes off at 8:30 a.m. CT, and the women run the 6k course at 9:15 a.m. Texas A&M expects over 40 teams to enter the meet. Friday's competition will be the final regular-season meet for the Bruins before the Pac-12 Championships come at the end of October.

Last Time Out – Bill Dellinger Invitational (Sept. 22)
UCLA Cross Country came away with a sixth-place team finish at the University of Oregon-hosted meet. Mia Kane (20:41.7) was the fastest Bruin on the course for the second-consecutive meet, improving on her time from the LMU South Bay Twilight in early September.
Patrick Curulla finished as UCLA's top scorer on the men's side, crossing the line in 24:22.3. Curulla placed 26th in the race; UCLA's next two runners placed 43rd and 44th, respectively, displaying strong pack running to finish side by side.
