ย
UCLA struggled at the start, hitting in the negatives (-.031) in the first set. Oregon opened the contest with a 7-2 run and followed it up with a 3-0 streak, which was halted by a kill from Anastasija Ivkovic for the side out. Oregon continued to dominate, winning eight of the next nine points until UCLA's freshman outside hitter managed come up with another run-stopping kill. Oregon hit .350 as a team to convincingly win the set, 25-12.
ย
The Bruins began to find their rhythm offensively, matching the Ducks point-for-point in the early stages of the second set. Oregon then pulled ahead with a four-point run to gain their first significant lead. However, Duffey's emphatic block capped a 3-0 run that brought the score to 12-12. Another 3-0 rally allowed the Ducks to create more separation. Despite Leverette's strong response, which included a kill and a block on consecutive points, UCLA ultimately fell behind 2-0 in the match after dropping the second set.
ย
Oregon grabbed the final set 25-13 after posting a hitting percentage of .424 in the frame, its best mark of the match.
