March 31, 2025 | Gymnastics

Six UCLA gymnasts have earned a total of 10 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) regular season All-America honors for 2025. The six honorees are the most by any school this season and also tie a school record set by the 2018 and 2019 squads.

Junior Jordan Chiles leads the Bruins with four honors, receiving first-team acclaim on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise and second-team honors in the all-around. Chiles is now a 13-time All-American. The three-time Olympic medalist finished the regular season ranked No. 1 on floor, No. 7 on vault and bars and No. 11 in the all-around. She has scored three perfect 10s this year โ€“ two on floor and one on bars โ€“ including one to win a share of the Big Ten title in the Bruins' last competition.

Graduate Chae Campbell also earned multiple All-America honors as a second-team honoree on vault and balance beam. Campbell has totaled 10 All-America awards in her career and is now a four-time All-American on vault and two-time All-American on beam. Ranked No. 15 nationally on both of those events, Campbell has posted a season-high of 9.925 on vault and has scored career-highs of 9.950 on beam in each of her last two meets.ย

Senior Emma Malabuyo earns her third career All-America honor on balance beam after finishing the regular season ranked No. 6 in the nation on the event. Malabuyo averaged a team-best 9.935 on beam this season and is averaging 9.867 over her four-year career. She scored a season-high 9.975 at Maryland on Jan. 18 and has a career-best of 10.00.

Earning All-American honors for the first time in their careers are graduates Brooklyn Moors (first-team, floor exercise) and Frida Esparza (first-team, uneven bars), along with junior Ciena Alipio (second-team, balance beam). Moors has been ranked in the Top 5 on floor all season and finished with the No. 3 national ranking. Her season average of 9.948 is second-best in the nation, and she scored her first career perfect 10 on floor at the Big Ten Championships. Esparza ranks No. 7 in the nation on uneven bars and leads the Bruins on the event with five victories. She is averaging a team-high 9.885 and scored a career-best 9.975 on Feb. 14 against Penn State. Alipio earned her first career 10 on beam to win a share of the Big Ten title. She finished the regular season ranked No. 15 nationally and No. 2 in the conference behind Malabuyo. Alipio is averaging 9.94 in her last three meets and 9.907 in her last seven.
