CHILES REALLY IS THAT GIRL ย
In the past month, Olympic gold medalist and two-time Olympian Jordan Chiles was featured in Nike's Super Bowl commercial, honored by Time Magazine as one of its 2025 Women of the Year, appeared on "Good Morning America" and "The Jennifer Hudson Show" and released her book, I'm That Girl, which she is signing before the meet on March 9 at the UCLA Bookstore for the first 200 book purchasers from 12-2pm. Chiles has seamlessly made the transition from Olympic medalist to UCLA Bruin (again). She made her much-anticipated return to UCLA after a one-year absence to train for and ultimately win gold and bronze at the 2024 Olympics. She rejoined the Bruin team on Dec. 14 after the fall quarter ended and has competed on at least three events in every meet, even with limited training time prior to the season. The five-time Big Ten Gymnast of the Week has four all-around victories in six meets and scored a season-best 39.600 Feb. 14 to win the meet against Penn State. She scored her first perfect 10 of the year at Maryland on Jan. 18, receiving a perfect mark on uneven bars, and she added another 10 on Feb. 1, this time on floor exercise to clinch a UCLA comeback victory on the final event. That walk-off 10 was Chiles' fifth floor 10 of her career and 10th 10 overall, ranking her No. 5 all-time at UCLA with 10 career 10s. She is also No. 3 on bars and floor with five 10s on each event.
