UCLA to Host NCAA Regionals as No. 8 National Seed

LOS ANGELES โย The UCLA softball team was selected as the No. 8 national seed for the 2026 NCAA Tournament and will host Regionals at Easton Stadium for a 12th straight season from May 15-17.

Tickets for the Regional will go on sale Monday, Mayย 11 at 10 a.m. PT. Fans can purchase tickets HERE.
NCAA Tournament Interactive Bracket
The Bruins (47-8, 20-4 Big Ten) are making a record 41st appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Competing against UCLA in the Los Angeles Regional are (2) South Carolina, (3) Cal State Fullerton and (4) California Baptist. Gates will open 90 minutes prior to first pitch each day.
The first matchup for the Bruins will be on Friday, May 15 against Western Athletic Conference champion California Baptist at 7 p.m. (PT) on ESPN2. All games for the NCAA Tournament will be available for viewing on the ESPN Family of Networks.
UCLA owns a 245-71 (.775) NCAA postseason record dating back to 1982. The Shelly Carlin UCLA Head Softball Coachย Kelly Inouye-Perezย guided the Bruins to their 12th and 13th national championships in 2010 and 2019 and owns an 92-37 postseason record across the last 19 seasons. Last year, she led UCLA to its 33rd Women's College World Series appearance and for the 11th time as the leader of the program.

The Bruins boasted the nation's most prolific offense during the regular season, leading all programs in home runs (182), on-base percentage (.495), slugging percentage (.835) and runs per game (10.80). A program-record eight different UCLA players recorded double-digit home runs.
UCLA is led by USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top 25 Finalistsย Megan Grantย andย Jordan Woolery, who have earned the honor for a second consecutive season. Grant has broken the NCAA Division I single-season home run record with 38 this year while Woolery is the fifth player in NCAA Division I history to record 100+ RBIs in a campaign. The two sluggers are the first pair of teammates to hit 30+ home runs in a single season.
