Junior goalkeeper CiCi Peterson (San Diego, CA/La Costa Canyon HS) of the UCLA Women's Soccer Team was selected as the UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 20-26.
Peterson led UCLA to the Women's College Cup for the first time in school history after making a career-high-tying eight saves in a 2-1 quarterfinal win at Clemson. Peterson made two outstanding saves in the last 15 minutes of the contest to preserve the victory. With the victory, Peterson set a new school record for single-season wins with 18.
The Student-Athlete of the Week honor is the first for Peterson in her career.
