Made 10 appearances, starting eight games on the mound for the Alexandria Beetles of the Northwoods League...went 2-3 with a 3.13 ERA in 46.0 innings...totaled 47 strikeouts, the second-highest total on the club, and issued 21 walks...limited the opposition to a .251 batting average...threw one complete game...Alexandria finished 33-35in the Northwoods League's North Division.

Made eight appearances, including two starts...registered a 8.49 ERA in 11.2 innings, totaling nine strikeouts...recorded two strikeouts in his each of his first three relief appearances...started at Long Beach State (Feb. 20) in his collegiate debut, pitching four scoreless innings; allowed three hits and walked two in a no-decision.
