Blasted his first career home run against Ole Miss (March 10)...went 2-for-4 with one run scored in a start at NC State (March 4)...collected his first hit of the season in a 1-for-3 performance against Miami (Feb. 11).
2005 (Summer)
Played 47 games for the Alexandria Beetles of the Northwoods League...hit an impressive .351 (61-for-147), which was third-best in the league, with one home run, 13 doubles, 18 RBI, 33 runs scored and 14 stolen bases.

Saw action in 37 games as a true freshman, starting 18 contests...hit .222 (16-for-72), recording two doubles, 14 RBI and three stolen bases...posted a .966 fielding percentage, recording 28 putouts and committing just one error...went 3-for-4 against Pacific (Feb. 25) with one RBI...recorded two RBI in three games, including games at Arizona State (April 22) and at Washington State (May 20).
