Mengel ranked eighth in the Pac-12 with a 40.2 yard average ... Team rated 28th in NCAA, second in Pac-12, in punt return defense (4.80) ... Had seven punts for 39.6 yard average in his first career game at Virginia ... Placed two kicks inside the 20 vs. Memphis ... Kicked six times for a 45.5 average vs. Utah ...
