Madey posted a one-shot victory at the Sahalee Players Championship, leading the tournament wire-to-wire with a 72-hole score of 7-under 281 ... tied for ninth at the Pacific Coast Amateur Championship (-4, 280), tied for 39th at the Western Amateur (-2, 282) and tied for 41st at the Northeast Amateur.
2017-2018

Won the Oregon Amateur Championship in his hometown in June, winning medalist honors by nine strokes (-12, 130) ... went on to win his six match-play rounds by a combined margin of 27 and 19 ... advanced to the round of 32 of match play at the U.S. Amateur at Riviera Country Club, tying for 49th (+3, 143) in two days of stroke play ... tied for ninth at the California State Fair Amateur (-10, 206), the Pacific Northwest Amateur (E, 144) and the Sahalee Players Championship (+3, 291), and tied for 14th (E, 284) at the Pacific Coast Amateur.
