Born in San Diego, Calif., to parents Sharen and Kenโฆ Has three sisters: Makena, Vivian and Violetโฆ Outside of the track, she loves to hike, camp and spend time outdoorsโฆ Enjoys going to national parks, exploring the United States and what the world has to offerโฆ also surfs and spends time in the ocean during her free timeโฆ Some additional hobbies include painting and doing other arts and craftsโฆ Lists Sean Johnston and Serena Williams as athletes she most admiresโฆ Describes her greatest athletic thrill โwhen I arrived at my first indoor meet in Albuquerque, N.M., I saw all my favorite athletes competing and I got to compete with them for the first timeโโฆ Decided to attend UCLA โbecause it has such a prestigious campus, a rigorous learning curriculum and an applauded athletics programโโฆ Majoring in psychobiology, with the career objective of becoming a physician assistant.
