Competed in one indoor meet for the Bruins at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational (high jump: 1.55m, 5-01.00)โ€ฆ Appeared in five meets for UCLA during the outdoor campaignโ€ฆ Cleared her season-best 1.55m twice during outdoor competition (Rafer Johnson-Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational, sixth; Chris Rinne Twilight, sixth).

Attended Westview High Schoolโ€ฆ A member of the varsity volleyball for three years and varsity track & field for all four yearsโ€ฆ Awarded most valuable newcomer for track and field her freshman yearโ€ฆ Broke Westviewโ€™s high jump record twice (05-06.00 โ€“ freshman, 05-09.00 โ€“ sophomore)โ€ฆ Ranked fourth nationally and number one in California in the high jump during her sophomore seasonโ€ฆ Won track and field CIF southern sectionals her freshman, sophomore and junior yearโ€ฆ Awarded best offensive volleyball player her junior year, as well as MVP all-tournament team her senior seasonโ€ฆ Voted Female Athlete of the Year during her senior year.

Born in San Diego, Calif., to parents Sharen and Kenโ€ฆ Has three sisters: Makena, Vivian and Violetโ€ฆ Outside of the track, she loves to hike, camp and spend time outdoorsโ€ฆ Enjoys going to national parks, exploring the United States and what the world has to offerโ€ฆ also surfs and spends time in the ocean during her free timeโ€ฆ Some additional hobbies include painting and doing other arts and craftsโ€ฆ Lists Sean Johnston and Serena Williams as athletes she most admiresโ€ฆ Describes her greatest athletic thrill โ€œwhen I arrived at my first indoor meet in Albuquerque, N.M., I saw all my favorite athletes competing and I got to compete with them for the first timeโ€โ€ฆ Decided to attend UCLA โ€œbecause it has such a prestigious campus, a rigorous learning curriculum and an applauded athletics programโ€โ€ฆ Majoring in psychobiology, with the career objective of becoming a physician assistant.
