2016 (Track) – Did not compete in any meets during the 2016 season.
2015 (XC) - Raced in the Nevada Twilight Classic (5k) placing 11th and finishing with a time of 17:11… Raced in the Mustang Challenge (8k) placing 53rd overall and finishing with a time of 26:43… Also raced in the Titan Invitational placing 26th overall and finishing with a time of 26:01.
2015 (Track) - In the UCLA v USC dual meet competed in 3,000m steeple with a time of 10:31.96 and finished 4th ... Mt.Sac Relays ran in the 1,500m and finished with a time of 3:58.59 and came in 63rd place overall ... At the Arizona State Pac-12 vs. Big 10 Invitational competed in the 5,000m and in the 1,500m race … ran 3:55.90 and finished in 22nd. Indoor ran in the Lumberjack Team Challenge competing in the 800m and finished with a time of 1:58.46.
2014 (XC) - Competed in three races his junior year ... Ran his season best 8k time of 25:37.1 at the Titan Invitational ... Placed 10th at the Dual At The Rose Bowl (8k) race with a time of 25:41 ... Opened the season with a 43rd place finish at the BYU Autumn Classic (4mi) with a time of 22:10.6.
Cerritos College Track & Field (2013): Finished in 11th place at the state championships in the 1500 meters… Took second place in the 1500 meters (3:54.15) and ninth in the 800 meters (1:53.47) at the Southern California Championships after coming in third in the 1500 meters and fourth in the 800 meters at the South Coast Conference Championships… His time in the 1500 meters is the fourth best in school history… Also competed in the 3000 meters (8:45.33) and 5000 (14:49.48) meters during the season…..
Cerritos College Cross Country (2013): Came in sixth place at the state championships with a time of 20:26.97 to help the team come in fourth place, and also took sixth place with a time of 21:07.64 at the Southern California Championships, with the team coming in eighth place… Was fifth at the South Coast Conference Championships (20:31.0) to lead the team to a second place… Was third at the UCLA Double Dual in a time of 24:53.27, while his time of 21:37.90 was good enough for ninth place at the San Diego Invitational… Came in seventh place at the Lou Vasquez Invitational in a time of 20:27 and finished third at the Palomar Invitational in a time of 21:48…..
Cerritos College Cross Country (2012): Helped the team finish sixth at the state championships by coming in 23rd place with a time of 20:50.90 and recorded a time of 21:10.52 at the Southern California Championships to finish in 38th place overall… Earned 1st Team All-South Coast Conference honors by coming in seventh place with a time of 21:12.24 to help the team capture the championship… Led the team at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational with a fourth place finish in a time of 21:07 and was 10th overall at the Grand Canyon Invitational by completing the course in 25:18.2… Finished the Lou Vasquez Invitational in third place overall with a time of 20:15.90, while he opened the season by finishing 14th overall at the Mark Covert Classic in 26:17.02…..
US Santa Barbara Track & Field (2012): Was a red-shirt on the UC Santa Barbara track and field team…..
California HS: In track and field, he holds the school record in the three-mile (14:59), two-mile (9:24), and 800 (1:55) meters...Won the league championship in the 800 meters and 1,600 meters his senior year... Named Whittier Daily News Athlete of the Year... Earned his name to the Honor Roll all four years… Qualified for the CIF Championships as a senior and junior in cross country, while he was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior…Was a member of the Del Rio League cross country championship team as a sophomore and junior… Named the team’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman…..
Personal: His father played basketball, soccer and baseball in high school, and then basketball in college… Enjoys playing Xbox, writing poems and playing basketball in his spare time… Has two siblings – Christian and Grant… Is the son of Tim and Monica Bazinet.
