Competed in eight meets as a senior … Indoor: Opened his season at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational, placing sixth in the high jump … Took second in the high jump at the Columbia Challenge with a clearance of 2.14m (7-0.25) … Also finished second in the Don Kirby Invitational, posting an indoor season-best mark of 2.17m (7-1.5) … Placed seventh at the MPSF Indoor Championships at 2.10m (6-10.75) … Outdoor: Earned fourth-place to score five points at the Pac-12 Championships to qualify for regionals with a mark of 2.14m (7-0.25) … Capped his Bruin career with a 24th-place finish at the NCAA West Regionals with a mark of 2.06m (6-9) … UCLA Top-10 Record Books: Indoor: 2nd – High Jump (2.21m; 7-3; achieved in 2017) … Outdoor: T-7th – High Jump (2.20m; 7-2.5; achieved in 2017).

2018
Competed in a trio of indoor meets ... His best result came in the Dr. Sander Invitational, where he posted a mark of 2.03m (6-8) in the high jump ... Made his last appearance of the year at the Don Kirby Elite meet on Feb. 10. 

2017
Second-team All-American in the high jump … Finished 12th at the National Championships with a clearance of 6-11.75 … Jumped 7-01.75 at the NCAA West Regional Prelims, finishing in sixth place to qualify for Nationals … Was the runner-up at the Pac-12 Championships with a clearance of 6-11.50 … Opened his season with an outdoor-best clearance of 7-02.50 at the UCLA Legends Invite, which left him tied with teammate Isaiah Holmes for the ninth-ranked mark nationally in the 2017 outdoor season … Finished 12th at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a high jump of 6-10.75 … Won the high jump competition at the Don Kirby Invite with a mark of 7-02.50 … Opened his indoor campaign with a massive lifetime-best clearance of 7-03.00 at the Columbia East-West Challenge, a mark good for the meet victory, a tie for 10th in the nation, and a tie for fifth all-time in UCLA history.

2016
A NCAA qualifier in the high jump … Cleared 6-11.50 to place 23rd at the NCAA West Prelims … Placed seventh at the Pac-12 Championships with a jump of 6-8 … Cleared a season best 7-1.75 to win the dual meet against rival USC … Leaped over 6-11.50 to win the high jump at the dual meet against Texas A&M … Opened his collegiate campaign with a clearance of 7-1 to win the Rafer Johnson/JJK Invitational … Competed at the World Junior Championships at Poland in the high jump … Was the runner-up at the 2016 USATF Junior Championships in the high jump with a personal best mark of 7-2.25 … That jump is tied for eighth all-time on the UCLA top-10 list

Prepped at Lemoore High School in Lemoore, Calif. … Won the CIF State Track & Field Championship in the high jump with a leap of 6-11 … Cleared a personal best of 7-0 to win the Golden West Relays … Won every single meet he competed in as a senior … Jumped over 6-8 in 16 meets during his prep career … Also pole vaulted, long jumped and triple jumped … A three-time team MVP … Named the team’s most inspirational three times and was a two-time team captain.
